TaterTot Casserole T style

I tried a new recipe  tonight, TaterTot Casserole.  I'm so tired of making the same ole crap, my kitchen has been so boring lately I really haven't felt like cooking.
Even Bambi was bored!
My family is so freakin picky there is always one that "eeewws", but not tonight so its definately a keeper!
So I set the recipe out that I printed, and of course Bambi had to check it out  and sit on it, he was excited as well.
I shooed his furry butt down and he squawked as usual cause he likes to be in the middle of every thing, wiped down the counters and proceeded to imitate the Swedish chef.

The original recipe is from here Tapestry of the Mundane she's got alot of groovie stuff too. I had to make a few changes because I didn't have all the ingredients.  So here is how I threw it all together:
Here's what you need:
2lbs of ground beef
Couple of shakes of Shillings Steak Seasoning, black pepper
1 can of cream of mushroom soup
1 Pkg of Brown Gravy mixed with 1 cup of cool water. (don't cookit)
1 bag of seasoned tater tots
1 bag of shredded cheddar or colby

Here's what you do:

    Preheat your oven to 425
    Grab a 9x13 baking dish and set-aside
Brown the ground beef and sauté with mushrooms and onions
Drain ground beef and pour in baking dish
Mix gravy and soup in a bowl, Fold-in soup mixture over ground beef
Empty bag of frozen tater tots onto beef; arrange in tots into one layer
    Top tater tots with cheese
Bake for 25 minutes; tots should appear done/golden

Now if you have an onion, mushrooms and or a bell pepper that would be super good in it too.  Even some frozen corn for more of a Shepards pie kina dish. The possibilities are really endless.
So if you do make it share with us what you did!
